Microsoft might take a hit with the Xbox 360

Analysts are thinking that Microsoft might take a $75.00 hit per unit on the Xbox 360 when it launches. That's if the Xbox 360 launches at the $299 price point they're thinking it's going to launch at. Microsoft will be paying $375 to their manufacturing partners while hoping to make up the difference (and then some) thru software sales. The falling price of the hardware that owuld hopefully happen over time would also help but who knows.
