Nintendo to have WiFi hotspots for DS by the end of the year

Nintendo is looking to have 1000 WiFi hotspots for the Nintendo DS by the end of the year. They plan on putting up the hotspots in department stores and game retailers, basically whereever you would be able to buy Nintendo DS games. Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing DS are two titles that are supposed to support the WiFi connectivity and be out by the end of the year.
