CES news: The Xbox 360 will be able to play HD DVDs soon

From CES (and Gizmodo) comes word of what went down at Billy G's keynote address yesterday. Apparently, Microsoft is building another Manufacturing factory to pump out more Xbox 360s which should be opening next month. That's all well and good but what most people will find interesting is the fact that the Xbox 360 will be getting an external HD DVD drive for playing movie HD DVDs. Chances of that external drive playing HD DVD games are pretty slim since that would just add to one of the many add-ons you would end up buying if you went with the basic Xbox 360 system.
