Will Crytek be absorbed into the EA fold?

Apparently, the talks are already in progress. EA has an inside track to the company, due to EA publishing Crytek's upcoming Crysis but talks don't mean anything concrete. Would this be good or bad for Crytek? I'm don't think it would be the worst thing. The founders and employees could make some cash from the sale and would probably be able to keep doing things the way they have been. In that respect, rock on.
