McDonalds Mario related commercial brings back the memories

I don't know why but watching this McDonald's spot for thier new Mario-themed Happy Meal toys reminds me of the good ole days, when pixel graphics were enonugh and the internets were bulliten boards. Ahhh. The good ole days indeed. Anyway, this commercial seems to have possibly been heavily inspired by some college kid's talent show entry which is basically the same concept, except he's way bigger then the kid in the McDonalds ad and he did his on stage. Rip off? Eh, maybe. The way the kid jumps at the end when he reaches the flag is the scene that brings the memories back I think. I rememebr how mario used to pause just like that. Good times man, good times.
